What a random day. I've done very little work, but I did manage to get my parking permit (no more finagling for space on Fitzwater!) and hit Trader Joe's to buy a bunch of tasty, tasty things. Then I came home, tried to read some and then had to take a nap.

I woke up to an e-mail from a professor in the department informing me that my paper had been accepted in the research forum for the entire school of communcation. Yeah, it's a baby conference, but I'm thrilled. Of course, now I need to come up with a 10-minute presentation. But I'm stoked.

This weekend will consist of reading, writing and watching the entire run of My So-Called Life (this is research, people).

I like when things fall into place.
