For some reason, I've been watching A Wedding Story today, and it's pissing me off. Why are people so hideous and tacky? Today's wedding took place on Halloween in Salem, Mass. The bridesmaids were dressed as witches and the groomsmen were dressed as vampires. The proposal included one of those white wicker animatronic reindeer. GROSS.

Last night the Deathray Davies rocked the audience of 14. They were so fucking good. I only wish that I could go up to NYC to see them this weekend. New York peeps, go! The opening band was a bunch of kids who couldn't have been older than 20 who were pretty much playing Slanted and Enchanted with new lyrics. It's like their older brothers left their Pavement CDs at home when they left for college for their younger siblings to ape in the garage with their high school bandmates.

Tonight the New Pornographers will rock the TLA. I can't wait.
