I've been having 12-hour days at school all week. I spent some time in the library today, but now I'm slacking off. I have my first huge paper due Tuesday and I really don't give that much of a shit. My life is consumed (haha) by subculture and advertising.

Why do I especially not care? Because Cassie is in town! The "bus your own event" bride is here for a few days and I need to hang with her. We will drink tonight, and it will be fabulous.

Oh, and as many of you may know, one of my biggest obsessions in pop culture is the Duran Duran epic "Wild Boys." Imagine my surprise when I take out a book from the library on rock aesthetics and there is an entire chapter devoted to that video! Made my day.
